  • Pregunta: How would I make a hole in these ----- a punch or a drill?

    Respuesta: Drilling is probably easier. First you need to use a center punch, a sharpened nail will work, to hammer a mark where you want the hole. This will help prevent the bit from wandering. Then clamp the work piece down on a block of waste wood or a drill press if you have access to one. Don’t try to hold the piece down with your fingers! If the drill bit “grabs” the copper, it will tear your fingertips to shreds. Start with a smaller size drill bit to make a pilot hole, then step up in size two or three times until you have the size hole you want. This will help to keep the hole round, and the bit will be less likely to bite into the copper. Go gently, copper is a soft metal. You can deburr the cut edges will a round needle file or a piece of tightly rolled up wet/dry sandpaper. Using new, sharp drill bits will make the job easier.
  • Pregunta: How many discs are in the set?

    Respuesta: I got 7 discs, the picture shows 8 discs & the product headline says you’re getting 16 ounces(1lb). It also says there are ~7 pieces/.5lb. Confusing.
  • Pregunta: Is this solid copper or copper plated?

    Respuesta: It’s solid. However, depending on your application, they need a bit of buffing or steel wool to spiff them up. That being said, I just ordered my second batch.
  • Pregunta: What type of hole puncher works, can cut less than 20g?

    Respuesta: Not sur
