Is this really dust free? Having a nightmare with dust from substrate!
Respuesta: Yes, it’s just like soil, has no smell and will comfortably last around 4 weeks for one tortoise. -

How often do you change it and does it attract insects?
Respuesta: I do a complete change every 2 months or so but spot clean as required. It does not attract insects and it’s good for burrowing into. -

Respuesta: The Bedding is dreadful, don't buy it. -

Can this go in a vivarium?
Respuesta: I'm using this at the moment for my baby Hermann and he seems very happy. -

Respuesta: Don’t use it. I soon discovered there is no such thing as tortoise bedding. Use plain top soil instead as it’s better for tortoise and cheaper. -

Is this sterilised and safe for Horsefield tortoise?
Respuesta: It’s what I use for my Horsefield and he loves scratching around in it. He seems to be happy. -

Can this be used for hibernation?
Respuesta: From a veterinarian, use plain top soil. It's safer and much cheaper. -

Would this soil be ok to use for a leopard tortoise?
Respuesta: Just general top soil. This is expensive and dangerous for your tortoise. Plain top soil from Wickes is recommended for tortoises and costs £3.50 for 25L. Just make sure it doesn’t have fertilizer in it. -
Pregunta:
Quite possibly a stupid question. But could this be used in my savannah monitor enclosure?
Respuesta: I'm not sure as I use it in my tortoise tab.
