Notch Shackles Editorial Review
** Notch Quickie Shackle** The Notch Quickie Shackle has garnered widespread praise among its users for its innovative design and functionality. Climbing enthusiasts highlight its robust Construction, which offers both strength and reliability, making it a standout choice for various climbing applications, including tree climbing and saddle hunting. The slick double-locking pin mechanism is particularly lauded, as it minimizes the risk of losing the pin while wearing gloves during climbs, dramatically enhancing usability in practical scenarios. Many users appreciate the device's midline attachability, which allows for seamless integration into climbing setups without compromising safety. Reviewers frequently mention the shackle's ability to prevent side-loading, a common issue with traditional carabiners, making it a more trustworthy option for securing lines under load. Feedback also emphasizes the Quickie's lightweight design, which, when compared to quick links, is notably more efficient. The ease of opening and closing the mechanism has made it a preferred tool for saddle hunting, with one user asserting that it far surpasses traditional alternatives. However, while most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, there is a noted concern regarding noise during operations, particularly in specific hunting scenarios, which may detract from its quiet functionality. Overall, the Notch Quickie Shackle seems to deliver on its promises and exceeds user expectations in practicality, efficiency, and safety, making it a go-to tool for climbers and hunters alike. **
