This product contains lactic acid in the form of Sodium Lactate. Some users have experienced burning and redness on their faces after using this product, but it is good for others. It has a gritty feel and leaves the skin smooth and refreshed. The product is gentle if not rubbed too hard to get the granules off. The scent is like pumpkin spice, which some people may not like, but they will get used to it. It tingles when applied and resurfaces the skin, making it a little shinier. It is suggested that it may be too strong for people with very sensitive skin. A user had received an expired product, which is a disadvantage.
