Supco Oil Filter Wrenches FP18 Editorial Review
### Editorial Review of the Supco FP18 Filter Puller The Supco FP18 Filter Puller is a handy tool designed for the essential task of replacing filters in large commercial air handlers. Users initially appreciate its innovation and practicality, as the compact design allows it to fit conveniently in a shirt pocket while still extending to a useful length of approximately 31.5 inches when fully extended. This makes it particularly effective for reaching deep-set furnace filters, a common challenge in HVAC maintenance. However, while the concept is well-received, customer experiences vary significantly when it comes to durability. Many users express disappointment with the product's longevity, citing that the filter puller tends to break after relatively few uses. Some reviews mention that despite careful handling, the device can come apart, raising concerns about its Construction quality. Additionally, customers suggest the need for improvements, such as a sharper hook to enhance its functionality. That said, the filter puller's magnetic tip has garnered positive feedback, proving useful not only for filter replacements but also for retrieving small metallic objects, such as screws, from tricky locations—an added utility that customers have found valuable. Users recommend adjusting their expectations regarding the tool's capabilities, as it isn’t designed for heavy-duty tasks. Overall, the Supco FP18 Filter Puller stands out for its design and initial effectiveness but suffers from notable durability issues that might leave potential buyers cautious. ### Pros and Cons **
