Flowmaster Axle-Back Systems Editorial Review

The FLOWMASTER Axle-Back System 817837 is a direct replacement for the stock muffler, providing a high-tuck exhaust that is not visible from the rear of the car. Installation may require some adjustments to the pipe to ensure a proper fit. The sound is powerful and does not drone in higher gears, although it is louder during cold startup. While the product is made well overall, some customers have reported difficulty with the installation process, requiring modifications or professional assistance. Despite these challenges, many users are satisfied with the product's performance and unique sound.
