Blu-ray Editorial Review
The latest iteration of the Robin Hood tale takes a modern twist, without straying too far from the original message. The movie explains the story in a much better way than earlier versions, with a great cast including Ben Mendelsohn, Jamie Foxx, Eve Hewson and Jamie Dornan. The set design is wonderful and it's a great telling of the old fable. However, some viewers might find the lack of real drama and revenge twists a bit underwhelming. Overall, it's an enjoyable adaptation of the classic tale.
