What is Franmar Strip-E-Doo Emulsion Remover used for?

Franmar Strip-E-Doo Emulsion Remover is specifically designed for safely and effectively removing emulsion from screen printing frames. This biodegradable formula breaks down the emulsion without damaging the frame or mesh. It’s ideal for screen printers who need a reliable solution to reclaim screens for reuse, thereby reducing waste and saving costs. Additionally, using this product can enhance your screen prep process, leading to better print quality and efficiency in production.

Is Franmar Strip-E-Doo safe to use indoors?

Yes, Franmar Strip-E-Doo Emulsion Remover is made from eco-friendly, biodegradable ingredients, making it safe for use indoors. However, as with any cleaning product, it’s advisable to ensure proper ventilation during use. This safety aspect is especially important for those working in confined spaces, as good airflow can enhance the overall experience and effectiveness of the product. Using it indoors allows you to maintain cleaner workspaces while achieving optimal screen reclamation results.

How long does it take for Franmar Strip-E-Doo to work?

The effectiveness of Franmar Strip-E-Doo Emulsion Remover can usually be observed within 5 to 15 minutes after application, depending on the emulsion thickness and screen conditions. For optimal results, spread it evenly over the emulsion, giving it time to penetrate and dissolve the layers. This quick action allows screen printers to reclaim their frames efficiently, minimizing downtime and facilitating a smooth workflow, especially during busy printing schedules.

Can Franmar Strip-E-Doo be used on all types of screens?

Franmar Strip-E-Doo is compatible with most types of screens, including those made from aluminum and wood frames, as well as various mesh counts. This versatility makes it a go-to choice for screen printers who frequently work with different substrates. Before widespread use, it's always good to conduct a patch test to ensure compatibility, especially if using on newly acquired materials. This approach helps maintain the integrity and longevity of your screens.

What are the benefits of using biodegradable emulsion removers like Franmar Strip-E-Doo?

Using biodegradable emulsion removers like Franmar Strip-E-Doo benefits both the environment and your workspace by avoiding harmful chemicals and toxic fumes. These products contribute to a healthier working environment while ensuring effective emulsion removal. Choosing eco-friendly options aligns with sustainable business practices and appeals to eco-conscious clients, enhancing your brand’s reputation in today’s market. This commitment to environmental safety can help foster customer loyalty and attract new clients.

How should I apply Franmar Strip-E-Doo for best results?

For the best results, apply Franmar Strip-E-Doo liberally to both sides of the screen using a soft cloth or spray bottle. Allow it to sit for about 5-15 minutes, then gently scrub the emulsion with a screen wash brush. Rinse thoroughly with water afterward. This method ensures that the product penetrates effectively, leading to a more efficient emulsion breakdown. Regularly practicing this technique can streamline your screen reclaiming process.

Is Franmar Strip-E-Doo effective on cured emulsion?

Franmar Strip-E-Doo is specifically formulated to tackle both cured and uncured emulsions, making it a reliable solution for a wide range of screen printing needs. However, cured emulsions may take a bit longer to dissolve compared to uncured ones. Patience is key, and applying additional product as needed can enhance effectiveness. This capability to address different emulsion types makes it a versatile tool in any screen printer's toolkit.

What safety precautions should I take when using Franmar Strip-E-Doo?

While Franmar Strip-E-Doo is eco-friendly, it's still important to wear protective gloves and eyewear during use to avoid skin and eye irritation.
