It comes with a spacious vestibule area that can be used to store your belongings away from the main sleeping area. The tent is designed to be used with the included rainfly, as the tent's back wall is always open. Although the mesh porch provides extra space, it does not protect from rain, and it's recommended to get separate rain tarp. The tent has a thick and waterproof bottom, but may need a separate tarp to put underneath on gravel or rocks. The tent is relatively light and can be carried in a 2 ft long bag.
