Detalles de producto
- Original proofs of the stories and covers by Carl Barks are used worldwide for reproducing his work.
- For some stories, new masters of the work need to be made from printed comic books as there are no existing proofs.
- Reprinted stories from old 10 cent comic books often have poor quality compared to modern printing from original proofs.
- This book presents efforts to achieve better quality images for stories without known original proofs.
- New black line art plates and improved coloring have been used to restore Barks' Porky Pig, Andy Panda, and Droopy stories.
- The restoration work allows the art to stand out, be seen more clearly, and better appreciated.
