Respuesta: The arms cozy up against the walls of the tunnel, about the same size as the average gopher tunnel. The trigger is made of a thinner wire and the gopher hits it with its nose, setting off the arms with great force to entrap the gopher. Typically, the gopher is immediately killed. -

Respuesta: They work well for gophers, but since we don't have groundhogs in our area, I can't comment on their effectiveness for groundhogs. -
